Caring for Intimate Objects

Hand-forged jewelry is designed to be lived in. Over time, the surface of your ring or bracelet will develop a natural patina—a record of your touch, your movement, and the environments you inhabit. This evolution is beautiful, but a few simple care habits will ensure your pieces endure for generations.
Daily Wear & Preservation
We recommend removing rings during heavy manual labor, contact sports, or when handling harsh chemicals. While gold and platinum are highly durable, precious metals can scratch when in direct contact with steel or stone.
Gentle Cleaning
To restore the light to your gold and gemstones:
- Soak the piece in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 10 minutes.
- Gently brush with a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove dust.
- Rinse thoroughly in clean warm water and pat dry with a soft lint-free cloth.
